About Me

Sarah-Jane Ryan MIAHIP, MICP

Originally from Dublin, Ireland, I lived in Berlin from 2016 to 2021, and worked with a large client group from many different backgrounds.

Prior to that, I graduated with an MA from University College Dublin in 2008 and trained for three years with the Tivoli Institute, obtaining a diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy in 2012. I received full accreditation with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy and the Irish Council for Psychotherapy in 2016.

I have worked in several clinics in Dublin including Monkstown Therapy Centre, Insight Matters, and the Hanover Medical Centre.

Ongoing supervision with an accredited supervisor and continuing professional development (including courses on attachment theory, Compassion Focused Therapy, coaching, shame, mindfulness and HSPs) ensure I work to the highest standard of practice.

Testimonials

  • ‘Sarah-Jane helped me recognise elements in my approach to myself and to interactions that greatly contributed to developing more positive relationships and to solving a career impasse.

Throughout a most meaningful therapy course, and with careful attention to detail, to change and to my well-being, Sarah-Jane helped me see the connections between practice and convictions I held and difficulties I experienced. She additionally shared various methods with which to explore situations and feelings. With these, I approach everyday situations more reflexively, feel more at peace with myself, and continue to learn’.
